The results of the activities of the oil and gas complex of Turkmenistan for the first six months of 2025 were summed up at the sectoral meeting

On July 12, a reporting meeting on the results of the industry’s enterprises for the first half of this year, the International Year of Peace and Trust, was held in the Central Building of the Oil and Gas Complex of Turkmenistan. The participants of the meeting discussed the tasks set by President Serdar Berdimuhamedov before the country’s oil and gas complex at the digital sitting of the Cabinet of Ministers held on July 11, which summarized the activities of all sectors of the economy for the current period. During the meeting, chaired by the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan Batyr Amanov, the State Minister of Turkmenistan – Chairman of the Türkmengaz State Concern Maksat Babayev, the Chairman of the Türkmennebit State Concern Guvanch Agajanov, the Chairman of the Türkmengeologiýa State Corporation Gurbangeldy Garliyev and heads of associations, departments and enterprises of the complex spoke reporting on the work done during the reporting period. The speeches included information on the production and processing of oil and natural gas, which are in great demand in the world markets, the discovery of new promising fields and deposits, the intensification of work at the Galkynyş gas field, the acceleration of construction work, the effective development of international cooperation in key sectors of the national economy, the continuous strengthening of the raw material base of the oil and gas industry, the implementation of geological exploration work, based on digital technologies, the timely implementation of work, taking into account weather conditions, and other relevant areas.
