Power, Utilities & Strategic Infrastructure
Turkmenistan continues to invest in the modernisation of its power, utilities and strategic infrastructure systems as part of its long-term national development agenda.
Significant investment has been directed toward power generation, transmission systems, water treatment, municipal engineering and utility reliability. New infrastructure is being developed to support industrial growth, urban expansion and improved regional connectivity.
Across the country, modernisation of water, electricity and gas systems continues alongside expansion of transport and logistics infrastructure. Recent projects include new water treatment facilities, road infrastructure and utility upgrades designed to improve resilience, efficiency and long-term service delivery.
Strategic infrastructure development is also reinforcing Turkmenistan’s logistics role in the region. New road and transport corridors, including westward connectivity projects in Balkan Region, are expected to strengthen trade flows, support regional mobility and improve long-term freight and transit capacity.
